CS Review in Creative Suite 5

CS Review is a fantastic new service from Adobe implemented into Creative Suite 5.

It is available in Photoshop CS5, Illustrator CS5, InDesign CS5, and Premiere Pro CS5. It is so much easier to use it instead of creating Pdf comps and sending them to your clients.

The main purpose behind CS Review is to quickly share your design ideas with your clients or colleagues and you can do it straight from within Adobe Photoshop (or other applications as mentioned above)!

CS Review is a part of CS Live Services introduced by Adobe with Creative Suite 5 release last year and it is a complimentary service for a year. You just need to sign up with your Adobe account (which is Free as well).

Have a look at the interesting article that I found online and read it through. It explains how to work with CS Review and it guides you step by step. Here is the link:

Enjoy! :-)

Update your Ps, Lr, Br

Tuesday, January 11th, 2011

Do you know how to check if you are running the latest version of your Adobe application? Do you know how to check which one is the latest update for your Photoshop or Bridge or Lightroom?

The topic seems to be very simple but I meet many people who don’t think about that or maybe don’t even know how to do it and this is a crucial topic. Make sure your software is kept to date!

For this reason I recorded a video for you that shows how to check all that and make sure you have the latest updates installed – remember they’re all Free!

I hope you will find the video useful and will enjoy it.

Cs5 Logo

Good morning :-)

Have you  upgraded to CS5 already?

Maybe you want to play with the new features and you would like to use demo assets Adobe used in their presentations. Here is the answer for you. Adobe provided a link people can use to download the demo assets for every Creative Suite 5 product.

There are seperate downloads for Windows and Mac users and you can download demo assets for Photoshop and all the other applications.

You can download Demo Assets from this location. These assets can be used: “for demonstration and testing purposes.” (quote from one of Adobe employees).

Enjoy! :-)

Adobe CS5 Live in Birmingham

Friday, May 28th, 2010

Adobe CS5 LiveHello everyone. Yesterday was a fantastic day!

Lots of very interesting information from the best people in the industry. I found the event to be of great value.

Even myself as an Adobe Instructor found many new interesting techniques that I will apply in my training courses.

Many training sessions that anyone would find interesting (there was a Web  session and a Production Session for video guys and a Design Session for designers).

I was especially excited to see the man himself – Terry White – who came to us all the way from Michigan in the United States! Thank you very much for coming Terry! It was a fantastic experience to see your presentations, especially the one about Photoshop as I love Photoshop! And it was also very funny and informative at the same time. Great stuff!

Here are a couple of images from the event. Enjoy!

The Secrets to CS5 #3 – New Text Engine in Flash CS5 Professional

Wednesday, May 5th, 2010

Welcome to Day 3 and Secret No.3 – The New Text Engine in Adobe Flash Professional Cs5!

The New Text Layout Framework (TLF) in Flash CS5 gives you complete control over your text layout. It also gives you support for multi-lingual, flowable text. Loads of improvements here: including right-to-left text, multiple columns, and countless ways to apply styling to text. An amazing feature!

TFL gives you creative control over the display of the text in your Flash projects. Here is a screenshot of a part of a Properties Panel with all new features for TLF Text:

One of the functions that I have been waiting for for a long time was the ability to create multiple column layouts in one block of text. And now we have it here in Adobe Flash CS5 Professional!

I hope you have a fantastic day! Till tomorrow!
